TEDx Wageningen University is looking for a new board!

Positions available:


Chair
The chair, directly supported by the vice-chair, leads the core committee. This involves developing the aims, objectives, and strategy for the year, curation, chairing meetings, and coordinating the whole team.

Vice-chair
The vice-chair, while supporting the chair of the committee, also has the role of secretary. This includes writing down notes of the meeting, working closely with chairperson to make sure the organisation as a whole works well and keeping an eye of the general mailbox.

Speakers Manager
The speakers manager is responsible for the speakers of the event. This involves the acquisition of speakers, direct communication with the speakers as well as supporting the development of the speaker talks, and managing speaker coaching.

Partnership and Financial Manager
The partnership and financial manager is responsible for acquiring sponsorships and partnerships from the university and other external companies as well as handling finances. This involves contacting and networking with other companies, negotiating partnerships, and coordinating the financial accounts of the Stichting.

Public Relations Manager
The public relations manager coordinates the marketing, social media channels, and external outreach. This involves content creation, design, media scheduling, and expanding the reach of the TEDx brand in Wageningen.

Event Experience Manager
The event experience manager is responsible for the attendee experience during events throughout the year and the annual TEDx conference. This involves stage design, workshops, between talk activities, and attendee tokens.

Logistics Manager
The logistics manager is responsible for the logistics around organising the event. This involves taking charge of important communication with university channels and logistical contacts for the event such as venue, catering, and film crew.
