Hey, I am Shu Wen 😎. Born in Malaysia and now living in Germany, my diverse background fuels ⚡my passion for exploring the world 🌍. I am in my second year of the Bachelor's in Soil, Water, and Atmosphere 🌸 at WUR. I love nature 🌱 and I adore hiking 🥾 ! I am also obsessed with the sea 🌊 , the sun 🌞 , and all things nature-related🌦. In my free time, you will find me watching documentaries or listening to podcasts, TEDClimate being one of my all-time favourites!

For those wondering, my name is actually Russian since I lived in Moscow for the first eight years of my life. I’m very passionate about my studies, so most of my hobbies revolve around food and drinks. However, I also love learning new languages and bouldering.

My name is Irham M Dhafien, and I am a Master’s student in Forest and Nature Conservation at Wageningen University. Since my undergraduate days in Indonesia, I’ve wanted to join and manage a TEDx event inspired by the power of ideas to spark change and bridge diverse communities. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to pursue this during my Bachelor’s studies, I am thrilled to be part of TEDxWageningenUniversity this year, under the theme “Crossing Boundaries.”

Hi everyone! My name is Yasmine Willems. A little bit about me: I am half-Russian, half-Belgian and was raised in Moscow. I moved to Wageningen to pursue my Bachelor’s in Environmental Sciences. Last year, I started my Master's in Land and Water Management, as I was interested in the agricultural sector and water security issues. In my spare time, I like to unwind at home, read, and try out new recipes. On weekends, I usually enjoy travelling and visiting new cities.
